Ghana, which has achieved a positive momentum in economic growth, will become a country that will achieve extraordinary things when it starts operating new gas fields in the country. The oil and gas sectors, public infrastructure investments and commercial agriculture are seen as the sectors that will drive and multiply this growth. Among these projects are the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA) Sanitation and Water Project financed by the World Bank, the Kpong III Expansion Project, the Kpong Intake and Pipeline Replacement Project, the construction of four reservoirs in the cities of Adukrom, Dodowa, Atimpoku and Akorley, as well as the construction of transmission pipelines and the rehabilitation of existing facilities.
